a letter;

To the one I used to love before,

Thank you,

for being a fool who let someone with the sincerest intention of loving you,

yet smart enough to make way for someone else who—never in my wildest imagination ever since you left, have made me happier.

You had stepped mercilessly on my garden, yet in a way you turned the soil even more earthy for flowers to bloom in the saddest part of me.

So, thank you, for leaving me.

With utmost care, gratitude, and love,

your past.
